I have looked at your Club history with much interest, and enjoyed references to the early days when my father, Headmaster at Meole Brace School, where I was born, was a founder member, and if I remember correctly, Treasurer of the Club.
After migrating to North Wales in 1953, I took up Crown Green Bowls, playing many times for North Wales in the then Crossfield Cup. I remember, from my last village to your Club, seeing a photograph of my Father and other founder members in the Clubhouse.
I am delighted to see the Club progressing so well, and wish the members well in the future
Kindest regards, John Bray
